Nasrallah: Master Strategist Defeats Zionism

Using a strength which Zionism does not understand.

It was Sunday morning. I had my coffee. Like so many others worldwide, I examined the news. I dont read 'newspapers'. Their value disappeared long ago. I use them to document dates and names. I read independent media outlets and follow selected journalists.

The genocidal Zionists' destruction of housing complexes in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday, had been added to their list of war crimes against Lebanon, following decades of others and culminating in the booby trapping of electronics a week earlier. The Friday attack on Beirut left the question of whether Hezbollah Secretary General حسن نصر الله (Hassan Nasrallah) was to be added to the names of the children and medical workers murdered in the pager attack.

Jonothan Cook informed me that he was.

Hezbollah has confirmed that its longtime leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was among the hundreds of Lebanese killed in Israel’s massive bombardment of a suburb of Beirut last night.

The Israelis are murdering children, doctors, teachers, the infirm and political leaders. Their project, to dominate a land of mixed peoples and religions of over a thousand years, has further revealed its ethno-supremacist evil.

The Zionists in Israel, Europe and North America are also of mixed religion. European states and the United States sponsored the Zionist project, Israel. That support continues, irrespective of what level of barbarous atrocity Israel's political leaders command. Whether this truth is written in the pages of Western media or not, it is known throughout the world. That was Hamas' achievement.

They, for a day, retaliated against 3 generations of oppression. The Jewish Israeli Zionists could not accept that they were not dominant for a single day. Their response, their genocide of Gazan Palestinians published the now globally understood truth to which the West will not admit.

Gideon Levy, a Jewish Israeli journalist, understands his people and the terminal at which they have arrived. The Israeli Jewish population overwhelmingly supports the genocide, the extermination of all non-Jews within the borders of the British Mandate of Palestine, as the territory was known when the West dismantled the Ottoman Empire after the "Great War". The Global Majority also know this. This all consuming hatred and its genocide is not just a sickness of the Israeli political leadership. It comes from the Zionist state's Jewish citizenry. There are no scapegoats. The wealthier and more intelligent Israeli Jews will be leaving Israel soon, if they have not already, for Israel, even with the support of the US and its imperial vassals, cannot stand against the global ostracism which must surely come.

حسن نصر الله was a masterful strategist. There is nothing more frustrating than facing an opponent who repeatedly leaves one with no effective moves. This, on top of their racist hatred, is why Israel's leadership commanded their Israeli Occupation Force (IOF) to assassinate him. In doing so, they gave him his greatest victory over them. No 'defeats' will be added to his record of carefully controlled, 'managed escalation' which preserved Hezbollah's strength and raised its international support.

It is possible, perhaps likely, that حسن نصر الله knew that Hamas would launch its day of armed resistance on 2024-10-07. He no doubt predicted the overwhelming Israeli response that would target civilians, because that is what Israel has done every single time the Gazan Palestinians expressed their resistance with violence. The Israeli Zionists call this 'mowing the lawn'. The Gazans tried peaceful resistance during their "Great March of Return". Israeli snipers shot clearly marked health workers and journalists. The Zionist snipers shot children too. Hamas was forced into a coordinated, legal military response to their voters’ oppression and occupation.

حسن نصر الله, with counsel both within Hezbollah and across other elements of the Resistance Axis, saw an opportunity to both assist Palestine in resisting by engaging the IOF in the north to both initiate a long campaign with the IOF to their disadvantage and to hopefully scare the illegal Zionist settlers out of Lebanese and Syrian land. He and Hezbollah achieved both while the IOF was murdering approximately 200 000 Palestinians, a third of which were children and another third were women. حسن نصر الله achieved two objectives at once, draining IOF forces away from Gaza and weakening Israel's economy because of the settlers’ withdrawal. Both were achieved in a military campaign which was and remains mandated by international law.

The extended campaign against the IOF is fully justified under the Genocide Convention. A genocide is not a war crime; that is to minimize it. A genocide is the crime of crimes, the intentional extermination of a people. The convention is titled:

Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide

Signatory states 'commit' to these verbs; actions of 'preventing' and 'punishing'. To 'prevent' one must engage as soon as one reasonably believes that the crime is occurring. This Hezbollah and Ansar Allah did by engaging the same military group (the IOF) which was executing the genocide. There can be no doubt whatsoever that their actions are not only justified, but mandated by the convention. All other signatories are meant to have acted. Some states withdrew their embassies. The Republic of South Africa chose a legal response and lodged a case with the International Court of Justice.

What did the political leadership of US, UK and Germany do? They armed and/or provided intelligence for the very force which was executing an obvious genocide. They enabled the genocide, and are thus complicit in it.

Returning to the strategy of حسن نصر الله, Hezbollah's mandated attacks against Israeli military targets in annexed Lebanese and Syrian territory augmented Ansar Allah's attacks on Israel's economy. 60 000 illegal Israel settlers fled, imposing a further burden on Israel's economy as its reserve port of Eilat declared bankruptcy. As Israel began committing its latest war crimes against Lebanese civilians, Hezbollah extended the range of its attacks to Haifa, one of Israel's two primary ports. All of this is justified, mandated. Hezbollah would not have had to do any of this if the rest of the international community had actually stood for what they hypocritically claim and have legally signed. They did not.

Hezbollah and Ansar Allah committed from day one to cease their campaigns against Israel's economy and its IOF as soon as a peace was reached in Gaza. It is not they who failed, but the mendacious West, which supported Israel and its murderous IOF war criminals in the genocide of Palestinians.

This international alignment of choices of how to respond to the genocide, and Israel's latest political assassination and more war crimes, divides along geopolitical lines. On the side of executing or aiding the genocide and war crimes are Israel, its primary protector the US, and US vassal states in Europe and some further afield like Australia. On the other side is the BRICS+/SCO geopolitical block. Its overlapping core of China, Russia, Iran and India have actively opposed Israel's heinous crimes or been working on political solutions.

Many nations, and many of them with significant Muslim populations, are remain undecided about how to best serve their interests by aligning with one geopolitical block of the other. One such nation, of significant importance, is Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim nation (by population). It and other nations, irrespective of their religious composition, are watching the horror and international lawlessness of Israel and its backers.

The legacy of حسن نصر الله will not only be a masterful demonstration of strategy, building the strength of Lebanon and its Shia resistance to the genocidal, Israeli Zionists and their Western Christian Zionist backers, but also to inform the world of the poison of supremacy which sits at the heart of the West's power brokers. The Christian and Jewish Zionists are lawless and amoral. They cannot be trusted. They lie. They have no principles. They are void.

Watch the narratives that are issued by the West's media on behalf of its intelligence agencies and major corporations, its landed gentry and "elites" (the US term for gentry). Watch them issue eulogies of character assassination for Nasrallah. Watch them justify Israel's right to defend itself (against children). Watch them abandon their principles of free speech and the rule of law.

As Irish MEP Clare Daly observed, the West doesn't have an ideological leg to stand on. The Palestinian and Lebanese people are not going anywhere. They continue to suffer at the murderous hands of international Zionists. Those Zionists have exposed themselves to international ostracism, to be banished from the halls of discussion and commerce until the populaces beneath them replace them.

حسن نصر الله leaves a legacy, his strategy. He deftly played the Israeli Zionists forcing them to use that which they believed their strength, their military and their technology. In using it they have exposed their lawless amorality. From this, they cannot recover.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:

‘His Eminence, the Sayyed, the Leader of the Resistance, the righteous servant, has moved to the abode of his Lord and His pleasure as a great martyr, a brave, heroic leader, a wise, insightful and faithful believer, joining the immortal caravan of martyrs of the luminous Karbala in the divine journey of faith in the footsteps of the prophets and martyred imams.

His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, joined the great and immortal martyrs, whose journey he led for nearly thirty years, during which he led them from victory to victory, succeeding the master of the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance in 1992 until the liberation of Lebanon in 2000 and until the divine, sustaining victory in 2006 and all the other battles of honor and redemption, until the current battle of support and heroism in support of Palestine, Gaza and the oppressed Palestinian people.

We offer our condolences to Imam Saheb al-Zaman, Imam Mahdi (may God bless him and grant him peace), and the Leader of the Muslims, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, God protect him, the great religious scholars, the Mujahideen, the believers, the nation of resistance, our patient and jihadi Lebanese people, the entire Islamic Ummah, all the free and oppressed in the world, and his honorable and patient family.

We congratulate His Eminence the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. May God grant him the highest divine honor, the Order of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, fulfilling his most precious desires and the highest levels of faith and pure belief, as a martyr on the road to Jerusalem and Palestine. We condole and bless his fellow martyrs who joined his pure and sacred procession following the treacherous Zionist raid on the southern suburb.

The leadership of Hezbollah pledges to the highest, holiest and most precious martyr in our journey, full of sacrifices and martyrs, to continue its jihad in confronting the Zionist enemy, in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defense of Lebanon and its steadfast and honorable people.

And to the honorable mujahideen and the victorious and courageous heroes of the Islamic resistance, you are the trust of our beloved martyr, and you are his brothers who were his impregnable shield and the crown jewel of heroism and redemption. Our leader, His Eminence, is still among us with his thought, spirit, line, and sacred approach, and you are in the pledge of loyalty and commitment to resistance and sacrifice until victory.’
