Initial Summary

Iran has announced that its military response to Israel’s attack on its embassy has concluded.

The Iranian response looks grand enough to satisfy local political outrage. It also looks scaled in timing (drones and missiles) to force intermediate nations to declare their positions. This has been particularly poisonous for Jordan.

~~It seems reasonable to conclude that~~ Information about the response was communicated in advance to allow defenses to engage to neutralize much of the response so that it does not drive an escalation. The ~~likely~~ back channel announcement of the strike converted the strike into an economic attack of $1 billion USD. [See Christoforou video which references Mercouris describing the FT article which announced sufficient detail of the Iranian response before it was launched. The back channel was at least via Oman.]

Thus, this seems a shrewd, scripted, collaborative action designed to allow a graduated political response. It ~~will likely amount to~~ has amounted to a show of force which produces little actual damage.

Analysis

Because this was coordinated we learn that the US does not want an escalated wider war, in addition to already understanding this from Iran and the Axis of Resistance.

The Iran/Axis motivation is clear. The focus shall remain on Israel and its genocide so that it may destroy itself. The US’ motivations will likely include the presidential race.

That the US military industrial complex cannot support two wars at once is obvious. The entirety of NATO’s military industrial base can’t even supply Ukraine. The US cannot support Israel in a conflagration with Iran, whatever the Zionist political leadership’s desires. This is where reality checks politics. Its all logistics in the end. (The wild unknown is a suicidal Zionist nuclear attack.)
