Updated 2024-04-19: Added to the end of sources is a fascinating discussion between Dimitri Lascaris and Laith Marouf on the Iranian drone and missile attack on Israel (responding to the Israeli attack on their embassy in Damascus) and follow up actions by Hezbollah. Note the suggested time offset for the video.
Updated 2024-04-20: Added b’s report from Moon of Alabama and the Intel Wrap from Judging Freedom to sources.
Conclusion
Bernard from MoA uncovered a report of fallen booster casings from Israeli “ROCKS” air to surface missiles found in Iraq. These may have been from missiles fired at Iran by Israel which were taken down by Iranian defense in Isfahan. Its all a bit murky.
The general consensus, by b. and McGovern & Johnson is that the activity reported below was the Israeli “response”. Bernard cited a report from Israeli news that they were annoyed that US officials had commented on the action which triggered the US news to go haywire. The annoyance was that this was meant just for domestic consumption in Israel.
This all seems plausible. Everything is quiet between Iran and Israel for now. [2024-04-20 21:55 AEST].
Update
This is beginning to look like confirmed as probing and/or false alarms.
The earliest reports from Al Jazeera (AJ) were of an Israeli false alarm in the Golan. Israeli attacks were reported in Syria [confirmed by Syrian official news agency SANA] and Iraq. The three quadcopters shot down over Isfahan (Iran) may not have been munitions but surveillance. Whose they were also remains unclear. It is also possible that Iran is deliberately playing this down.
Al Jazeera noted a previous quadcopter type incident in Isfahan, from January 2023. These were launched from within Iran; a terrorist attack. It is possible that similar type events [Al Mayadeen English] occurred today.
Iran diverted flights (close some airspace). They were concerned and took what they saw as prudent measures.

This update from AJ in full because it quotes Prof. Marandi (who some may recall from the 2024-04-05 "Understanding Iran" article, and this author respects having listened to tens of interviews with him).
‘Business as usual’
Mohammad Marandi, a political and security analyst at the University of Tehran, says it is “still unclear if anything important has happened”. [YxN: No, AJ, he’s a Professor of literature, English and Oriental studies.]
“There may have been three quadcopters that were downed somewhere near Isfahan but … everything is business as usual,” he told Al Jazeera.
“People in Isfahan … are saying everything is fine,” Marandi said, citing social media reports.
“The Iranians have said that if the Israelis attack again, if they carry out another act of aggression, then they will strike back harder than last time and they will strike back without waiting for two weeks like last time.”
Iran on April 13 fired a barrage of more than 300 drones and missiles against Israel, saying the attack was in response to a deadly strike on its consulate building in Damascus on April 1.

Iran lifts flight restrictions across the country
[YxN] That might be it. Iran would be unwise to lift flight restrictions unless they had good reason to believe this is over for now. Fingers crossed, it is.

Earlier, Tasnim news agency, which is affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard, reported that the country’s civil aviation authority announced the lifting of flight restrictions in most airports.
Entekhab News also reported that flights are back to normal at Tehran’s main domestic airport, Mehrabad.

Israel dangerously exposed after Iranian drone and missile attacks, Lascaris interviews Laith Marouf, Dimitri Lascaris, 2024-04-17
Following a 00:18:39 duration discussion of identity terms and Zionist cultural attacks, Dimitri and Laith move on to the Iranian response to the Israel attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus. They provide independent and informed opinion questioning the level of damage which has been reported in Israel from the response. They then move to the consequences of the destruction of the Israel signals intelligence post on Mt. Hermon. Hezbollah executed a very sucessful attack deep into the Golan. This is corroborated by Hezbollah video they have seen and corresponding articles in Israeli media.
The discussion is informative and interesting.
