Media Literacy?
I will try to be mostly calm and give cautious opinions on geopolitics because it is a live playing field which moves fast.
On other topics like this I might come out all invectives blazing.
There is no "media literacy". There is whether the commentator treats you with respect, or like a child. I suggest a simple evaluation.

That is the whole damn thing. If they cant do that, they are not useful. You cant verify, so it's all just opinion fluffery and you cant learn ANYTHING. This is *especially* true of persons espousing opinions with which you agreed. Here lies the entrance to this next idiocy "echo chambers".
There's an equivalent term for "echo chamber", "circle jerk". So, beware and behold someone coming into that space and telling you that you're all full of shit; they are trying to help.
They are helping because we are all vulnerable to the circle jerk. Be aware of this, and hold yourself to ingesting opinions/ideas/arguments from counter perspectives. This is super valuable: a) you might learn something b) if you hate these creeps, then you know their arguments, and c) wake up, welcome to society.
If you think Free Speech is there to "protect" your speech, you've a little learning to do. Its there to allow you to *consider* other opinions.
