Disconnected
US and its NATO/EU vassals' recent behaviour is so blatantly disconnected from reality and morality that one is forced to reach one of two equally alarming conclusions. Either they are criminally insane or their belief in the Zionist/neo-Con idea that one can create reality and reinforce it via media manipulation is so strong that it amounts to the same diagnosis.
Blinken follows Yellen at China
During US Secretary of State Janet Yellen's recent visit to the Peoples Republic of China she lectured her counterparts there on US concern for China becoming too capitalist in its participation in market economics. Her threat was of their "overproduction".
Ensuring that he gained the more alarming headlines, her counterpart US Secretary of State Blinken, delivered one of the most hypocritical threats of all time. It was that China is trading with Russia and that some of this trade is in the hazy area of "dual use items". Recall that the US killed half a million Iraqi children due to sanctioning "dual use items" which then Secretary of State Albright assessed as "worth it". On this occasion, while Blinkenlights is threatening his counterpart, the US is not trading in “dual use” but using tax payer funds to gift, fully assembled weapons to the other side of the same conflict.
Blinken elevated NATO’s earlier threats by concluding his diplomacy with threatening economic war.
The Power of Students' Morality
Just over half a century ago, protesting another war which involved the continuous murder of children, US students led civil protests against it. The photographs of Ohio National Guard killing and wounding student protesters at Kent State University triggered a national response. An identical situation is happening across the US today.
In our ago of ubiquitous consumer electronics, equipped with microphones and cameras, the oppressive scenes on campuses across the US are far more numerously recorded. Again, US students are placing their morality before their political leaders, leading dissent against the outrage of supporting a genocide.
Matt Hoh's affirmation of the students' bravery and morality, with his commitment to support them, displays the forces which the US political "leadership" face.
Not one university president has denounced Israel’s destruction of every university in Gaza.
Brutalizing peacefully protesting students in the US reaches the international media. One is reminded of an event which the US loves to remind China, of tanks in the streets against students. That this time it is Texas police on horseback, or armed, black clad Georgia police trainees is no different.
Judge Napolitano answered Hoh's question of why state or university "leadership" are doing this, when all it does is publicize the brutality. They are more fearful of the speech which they are clubbing than the imagery of it.
Killing Ukrainians by Extradition
Across the pond, European nations care so much about Ukraine and its citizenry that they have incited, supported and fueled a war which is destroying it. In response to President Zelensky's government denying consular services to military aged males outside of Ukraine after lowering the draft age to 25, nations of Europe are in full support. The two moves are obviously designed to meet desired draft targets to continue the lost war with Russia and continue the elimination of a whole generation of young Ukrainian men.
Poland's defense minister declared that his government will actively support the return of Ukrainian men who fled Ukraine at the outbreak of hostilities. A Lithuanian minister supported this and suggested an alternative. These young Ukrainian men could onwards flee to Russia.
Behind these murderous statements is a clear position on these young Ukrainians. They are to be killed or exiled to the other side of the conflict to live with the ‘evil’ Russians. Neither of these governments care about Ukraine or young Ukrainians otherwise they would be suing for peace.
These cases of abhorrent, ghastly hypocrisy are reminders of why the world needs peace movements, to force these insane politicians to behave humanely. As the odd grandstanding politician is wont to say, "History is watching".
