US/Israel: The Soulless Indivisible Entities
Nasrallah's murder was not a false-flag but a false-peace operation.

Nobody honestly still believes Israel kills all these women, children, journalists, medical staff and humanitarian aid workers by accident. You either know they do it on purpose and you say so, or you know they do it on purpose but you never admit it in order to protect a political agenda.
This newsletter's last article concluded with "Israel is committing a genocide" in ALL CAPS for a reason. Understanding that truth enables one to frame reality. As Julian Assange stated before the Council of Europe a few days ago:
When I founded WikiLeaks, it was driven by a simple dream to educate people about how the world works, so that through understanding, we might bring about something better.
Reality matters. Confronting it and acknowledging it can require one to re-frame one's understanding of power — how it is and can be used.
Destroying Diplomacy to Elevate War
Former US Ambassador Chas Freeman recently stated on Dialogue Works (see Sources):
Israel, having seen the United States successfully destroy Iraq (which was the major society with the competence to attack Israel), is now trying to complete the process of achieving hegemony in the Middle East by enlisting the United States in a war with Iran.
From this understanding we should evaluate Israel's assassination of Hamas Secretary General Haniyeh in Tehran, hours after President Pezeshkian's inauguration, at which Haniyeh was a state guest. Haniyeh was Hamas' negotiator with Israel, after it had murdered his predecessor, for a cease-fire and hostage exchange. Israel's murder of Haniyeh was a brutal and deliberate provocation of Iran. As Alastair Crooke observed, Israel could have assassinated Haniyeh anywhere. Israel’s leadership chose Tehran.
The Zionists' intention was to provoke Iran to respond overwhelmingly. Israel would then cry victim again, and politically force the US, which is at the end phase of a presidential election campaign, into the exact enlistment which Freeman described above. Iran chose not to take that bait. It waited.
Various speculations abounded for Iran's "strategic patience". Some commentators noted that the lack of response but threat thereof caused Israel to fret. This may be true of some of its population, but given the motivation for the assassination, its political directors would have instead been disappointed.
The reason for Iran's patience is now known.
The Iranian president said Tehran agreed to wait to respond because of U.S. warnings that a cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas in Gaza was days away but that Washington has misled the world about the status of those talks.
“They told us earlier to prevent a larger war to wait another week or so for peace to be obtained,” he said. “Clearly the politicians that lie to us these days … lie to you as well.”
It is also understood that Rahbar Khamenei advised Pezeshkian to respond aggressively to the Israeli provocation. By choosing to refrain in the hope of a Gaza cease-fire deal, as US representatives had misled was "days away", Pezeshkian ignored the advice of Iran's head of state. He will not make that mistake again.
The US betrayal has cost it the last of its diplomatic credibility. This is to the advantage of those who wish for a regional war in southwest Asia. Israel is working with the US in those efforts.
Playing Both Hands
That Israel's objective is a horrific regional catastrophe was evident from early in the "hostage negotiations" which it repeatedly prevented by assassinating the other party's negotiators or changing the terms. Now confirmed a criminal by purposefully making false statements to Congress, US Secretary of State Blinken led the US public and media on a merry jig of false diplomacy to negotiate an exchange of hostages and a temporary pause in fighting, after which Israel would resume its genocide.
The buck for this dance stops with US President Biden and the reputation of the state. It has continued to provide Israel with the weapons it is using to execute its genocide of Palestinians in the Territories which Israel illegally occupies, repeatedly vetoed UN Security Council resolutions calling for an immediate cease-fire, and all the while played an utterly false role of facilitating diplomacy.
Gilbert Doctorow has recently published an analysis that Israel is carrying out actions which the US at least permits, if not desires. Taking up comments by Col. Douglas Macgregor made on Judging Freedom Doctorow wrote:
... by his own [Macgregor's] acknowledgment, the successful Israeli bombing of the Hezbollah headquarters and decapitation of its leadership in downtown Beirut was made possible only by direct United States support. The 86 two-ton bombs dropped on the residential buildings to tear deep underground and do the job were American supplied. The intelligence on the whereabouts of the intended victims was provided by the United States, which also brought its AWACS into play off the coast of Lebanon long enough to provide actionable information to the Israelis for their strike.
Let us put it another way: the United States provided Israel with what it needed to do what the United States wanted done. After the confirmed killing of the 30 years plus leader of Hamas, US. officials said the dead man had the blood of American servicemen on his hands and it was good that he had been eliminated.
Doctorow's analysis has been derided by various commentators, including Prof. Mearsheimer. The quibble is really about who is directing things. That there is resistance to at least some of Israel's reprehensible and illegal behaviour from some quarters of the administration is known. Some members of the US regime have resigned in protest. Aaron Bushnell declared his opposition to US policy in the most brave and confronting manner possible. And yet, the US continues to provide political, military, intelligence and financial support to Israel which facilitates every step of Israel's march towards mousetrapping the US into a regional war.
If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then ... the US supporting Israel in trapping it into a regional war is because it wants to be trapped, and thus wants the regional conflict.
A Persian View
If we rewind to 1880, the European geopolitical powers of the time (Britain, France, Spain, Austria/Hungary, Germany, Russia) had yet to take serious interest in the Levant or Arabian peninsula. That would come immediately after oil was discovered there and its importance as a replacement for coal as an energy source was understood. By the late 1890s Germany had agreed with the Ottoman Empire in Istanbul to extend European railways into Anatolia and onwards to Baghdad; the Berlin to Baghdad Railway project was a German effort to advance its imperial interests. A century and a quarter later, Europe and the post-WWII power, the United States, are still dominating the region for their own purposes partly because the region contains so much of the world’s oil.
The establishment of the settler colonial nation of Israel solved a useful problem for Europe, it partially assuaged its guilt for the Jewish component of the German Nazi genocides of Jews and the Roma and the mass murder of homosexuals. It also swept the "Jewish problem" out of Europe. The state was placed in Palestine (on the territory of the British "Mandate for Palestine" which it obtained after the dismemberment of the Ottoman Empire which sided with Germany in WWI -- see Railway above) instead of other locations like Uganda, which was offered to the Zionist movement in 1903. The placement in Palestine positioned the state in the middle of the region with the largest known oil reserves.
The US and UK obsession with oil has never changed. Its control provides enormous geopolitical power. As Caitlin Johnson noted recently:
Every nation on the top ten proven oil reserves list is either a target of US warmongering, has already been ruined by US warmongering, or is part of the US-centralized power structure.
[Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Libya, and Nigeria in decending order of proven oil reserves.]
5 years after Israel's creation, the CIA and MI-6 overthrew democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mosaddegh because he wanted to nationalize Iran's oil to benefit the state. The 1953 coup in Tehran was primarily to secure oil supply for Britain’s navy via the Anglo-Persian Oil Company. In 1954 the US began selling arms to is ally Pakistan which proceeded to engage a proxy war with Afghanistan. By a year after its 1979 Islamic revolution, Iran had US weapons supplied wars on its east and west. One was against it from the west by Iraq. The other was between the CIA supported Mujaheddin in Afghanistan to Iran's east where arms flowed through the well armed US ally, Pakistan to its south. (To Iran's north is the Caspian Sea.)
The Islamic Republic of Iran is still there, twenty years after the US initiated its next round of disastrous wars in Iraq (2003 -) and Afghanistan (2001 - 2021). With the crucial support of Russia, Iran's mutual defence partner Syria withstood the CIA+MI-6 coordinated civil "dirty" war from 2012.
Iran's people know all of this. It is their history. They have experienced constant warfare on their east and west or with their mutual defense ally. Each war was supported or instigated by the US for its geopolitical purposes or for the advantage of Israel, or both.
Hezbollah and Nasrallah's Assassination
Returning to Ambassador Freeman's comments on Dialogue Works, he suggested why Hezbollah broke the rule of gathering so many of its senior figures in one place, on Friday evening, 27th September 2024 in Beirut.
It was eleven days after Israel had exploded thousands of booby-trapped pagers in the city, an attack of pure terrorism not surprising to those familiar with Israel's methodology. How could one be surprised when the Israeli Zionists had been executing a genocide in the full view of the world, due to the brave reporting of Palestinian journalists, for 10 months?
The meeting, suggests Freeman, was to discuss whether or not to accept, and on which conditions, a cease-fire proposal for Gaza. It would necessitate that they agree to cease hostilities with Israel. They agreed. They and the hundreds of Lebanese civilians above them were then obliterated with 86 US two-ton bombs dropped on the residential complexes under which they met.
Israel had achieved what its sick minded planners viewed as a victory. This vile tactic of having a false peace offer issued via its US facilitator, or directly by the US but with Israeli knowledge, created the gathering which allowed Israel, with US intelligence support, to assassinate more of the leadership of groups opposed to its genocide.
This was the final straw for Pezeshkian. He had been humbled by Khamenei's deeper understanding of the sickness at the heart of the Zionist project and the eternal betrayal of the US.
Military to Military
Iran's response to Israel's multiple assassinations was targeted at Israel's military. Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas follow the laws of war while Israel murders children, mothers, doctors, journalists and the infirm. The sickness of the Zionists extends into a framing of discussion in Western media about limited responses by enemies in US proxy wars. The West's media asks whether a limited and military targeted response is due to some "weakness"?
The question itself exposes the immaturity of the questioner. In Iran's case, it has far more capacity than it used. It could have fired many thousands of missiles and still retained significant capability. The simple reason it did not is because it does not want open war. The Western journalists who frame questions like this expose their duplicity in the warmongering or imbecility, or both.
The question they are really asking is why wont Iran or Hezbollah attack Israeli civilians? This is just as easy as firing more or less missiles, one just chooses different targets. The answer to this question, which plagues these compassionless media servents, is that Iran's leadership and people have a soul which they value. This differentiates them from the Israeli Zionists who, as Freeman also noted, do not represent the Jewish faith. They have no morality at all. They are megalomaniacal schemers. This and their lack of morality is shared by the US leadership which supports them. The US is arming, funding and providing political support for a genocide. The US is complicit in this year-long genocide of Palestinians.
This lack of morality is also encapsulated in the US involvement in issuing the false cease-fire offer. US intelligence assets (AWACS) were in the air near Beirut. Their transponders were deactivated and reactivate. It is highly likely they were used to help Israel’s airforce murder Nasrallah and other Hezbollah leadership. US spokespersons crowed about the assassinations. The US must have known what was being done. Its agents were involved in orchestrating it.
US leadership has damned itself with its soulless Israeli Zionist proxies to ignomy.

"....the US supporting Israel in trapping it into a regional war is because it wants to be trapped, and thus wants the regional conflict...."
Well actually lets be more nuanced: the zionists 5th columnists embedded in the US government want to entrap the US military in a wid open hot war with Iran, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon (which Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter report that the US military is reluctant to be, as it sees no possible win here) and then try to sell it to the American people as "we have no choice".
The 1953 coup in Tehran was primarily to secure oil supply for Britain which it needed to convert its navy from coal.
Britain probably needed the oil but the Royal Navy started its turnover to oil well before WWI and was completely oil-fired long before WWII.
