A consideration of recent commentary by Crooke and McGovern.
Key points:
Alastair Crooke suggests that the political leadership of the West and their backers are indoctrinated with the belief that the West is superior to other cultures. This is a silly thing as 'the West' is not one thing, but the point is valid.
Crooke suggests that this is part of the motivation behind the constant rolling out of narratives which deviate from reality but support their own stupid determination to be 'superior'. Yes, but there's more to that. Specifically, the political leadership and supporters (e.g MICIMATT) know that the media will support their narratives and can be used to create them, so they will use the MSM because it willingly reinforces the power structures in the West.
Crooke suggests that 'everybody is waiting for somebody else' to act because a wider conflagration is waiting to be triggered in southwest Asia/the Middle East. Yes and no. The BRICS/SCO block are wise to do nothing because Israel and the US will shoot themselves in the foot all by themselves. The best strategy is to do nothing.
This elevates the issue raised by McGovern a week back; the risk of false flags. As the situation worsens Israel is likely to resort to this tactic to drag the US into a conflict which the US will enter at a whim. There is serious risk in this (the wider conflagration). For this reason, the BRICS+/SCO block need to be extremely disciplined and ready to call out a false flag if it comes.
We have all benefited from the efforts over the last decade or so from the alternate media pushing the term 'false flag' into the public consciousness, because this will allow any false flag event to be named as such without drawing the old CIA term 'conspiracy theory'. Of course, this may still be attempted, but people who do this when evidence is produced as to a false flag get laughed off the stage.
Note
The US has just killed another leader of the Iraqi PMUs which are an official part of the Iraqi national military. This is insane. It is also akin to Israel thinking that by killing Hamas' leadership it will be 'defanged'.
By the US doing this they create more resistance to their presence in Iraq. The US has already been informed by Iraq's parliament that it does not condone *any* foreign military on its soil, unless explicitly invited, which the US is not. They are, thus, still an occupying force who are still attacking Iraq's national military.
