Excellent summary.

The US has become a problem for everyone in the West and an embarrassment. NATO have not covered themselves in Glory either with their lies.

The issue which I also see this that some of the US allies too will fall. Besides the Straussians and the Bankers of the US and the British the BIS are also involved in the pillaging of the poorer nations in Asia and Africa. They too will have their comeuppance IMO. Most are joining Brics and I think some will renege of payments to the BIS (IMF - Worldbank Cartel). They will take the loans offered but they are playing both sides and that is especially the case with Ramaphosa in South Africa who is a socialist and communist through and through. A scoundrel of note that bloke is, wait and see.

Thank you, Sunface Jack.

Its a bit of a ramble, bit I tried to set a stage for the now. The USA's empire is on a decline. The USA will be fine. I meant what I said about talking to Lessig. The USA must fix its election funding, for without that as Aaron Schwartz noted, nothing will change. As for the "allies", they'll be fine too. Its quite possible that NATO and the EU will collapse, hopefully in an orderly manner. Luckily for Europe they have groups like DiEM25 and their time may well be on the horizon.

The threat from the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) is that they are leading the Central Bank Digital Currency march. The purpose is to remove cash so that every single transaction can be logged. Add that to internet and phone surveillence and there are few corners left which will not be pried into. Life becomes a panopticon and the technocrats will cheer. Against this, Europe does have traditions and even made efforts like the GDPR (General Data Privacy Regulations), so not all hope is lost. It will, however, take quite some effort to preserve cash. I expect people will start creating non-state local currencies for exchange of labour. That will put a cat amongst the pidgeons and really force the issue, for it is not counterfeiting, indeed, its not really a "currency".

Anyway, interesting times ahead.
