The Ukrainian Diaspora in Canada and the USA has a lot to answer for, or perhaps they have been used, together with the duped successive Canadian governments, Conservative and Liberal, who, like an obedient lapdog or eager satrap, go along enthusiastically with anything the US, especially military, asks of them.
US Foreign Policy has proven to be a disaster for so many countries, now I fear Canada and the US are going to feel blowback.
There is plenty of blame to go around. The Ukraine campain is era definining, as I've written. The world knows what the rotten core of the US does and the sick addiction of other minor powers to their failing hegemony. The wheels are moving to a new international order. Time will tell what that brings.
The US student protests are a hope for its future. That these protests extend far and wide through the West is a greater hope. Lessons are being learned, and learned by the leaders of tomorrow.
