Political West v Iran: Day 5
Solution 3, delay and hidden escalation, seems the current Western warpath

Context
Support for Israel's criminal war against Iran has been individually and collectively expressed by the nations of the US, Britain, Germany, France and Canada.
The collective support was issued in the closing statement of the recent G7 meeting in Canada. The statement ignored both Israel's 620 day long "live streamed" genocide against Palestinian women and children in Gaza, and that Israel has just begun an illegal war against Iran which has already involved war crimes, when it began:
We, the leaders of the G7, reiterate our commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.
In this context, we affirm that Israel has a right to defend itself. We reiterate our support for the security of Israel.
We also affirm the importance of the protection of civilians.
Iran is the principal source of regional instability and terror.

The replacement of the sovereign government of Iran with a Western compliant regime would provide multiple benefits for the modern, Western colonial establishment, including:
solidify Israel's hegemony of the energy and mineral rich region in southwest Asia
allow a projection of Western military and political power into central Asia, and
deny Iran's energy resources to China
heavily disrupt the Asia economic integration projects run by China, Russia and SCO partners
remove one of the core nations of the international alliance to combat Western financial and military oppression, BRICS+/SCO, and thus weaken the remainder
[SCO is the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, a multinational partner organisation begun by China and Russia which has been a primary driver for Eurasian economic integration projects, particularly the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative. BRICS+ is the growing international forum which began as BRICS — Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. Iran is a member of both, as are India, China, Russia and some other nations.]
News
Approved leaks to the Wall St. Journal provided additional proof of US complicity in Israel's illegal war on Iran. The leaks also serve to continue the narrative threatening Iran issued through Western media. These have had no impact on Iran's military calculations, for the leaks provided no new information.
It was already known that Israel's illegal war on Iran was green-lit by the US. That Israel expects the US to fight Iran for Israel fits the known pattern of every Israeli war. Its current iteration was confirmed by an Israeli official "leaking" the expectation to CNN.
Iran's political leadership has refused to bow down to the threats, illegal war and purposeful war crimes. Iran continues with its retaliation, exacting cost for the Zionist leadership and state of Israel attempting to deter them and their backers from continuing Israel's criminal war.
Iran's latest response is its 12th wave of aerospace munitions. It reportedly included more modern (2008) and higher capacity (700 Kg of explosives) missiles of the Sejjil class.
Status
News of progress to remove Iran's government with Western funded and organized paramilitary insurgency groups, like the MEK and resistance movements in Baluchistan, have been absent while news media focus on the military and political aspects of the attempted coup.
Unsurprisingly, Israel's "Pearl Harbor" (surprise military attack) on Iran was insufficient to give Israel sufficient advantage to avoid significant retributive cost. Iran has significantly damaged important military, military intelligence and military industrial sites in Israel.
Western media have begun reporting that which military analysts already understood; Israel's missile defenses have a limited duration without rapid, voluminous resupply. The volume and velocity of potential resupply has been weakened by NATO nations having their missile defense assets consumed in Ukraine and because NATO's military industrial base does not have sufficient production capacity to sustain lengthy industrial level wars.
The situation places Western leadership in a moment of quandary. Solution 1, to "all in" on Iran, is a highly risky approach which could lead to such a reduction in US military capacity that it cannot project military power any longer, an “end of empire” scenario, and/or the war escalates to also directly involve nuclear powers Russia and China. This latter potential escalation breaks the US "sequencing strategy", an undesirable outcome. Solution 2 is to call for a ceasefire, ignore Israel's criminal attacks and call the conflict a "draw". Solution 3 is to do neither, allowing the conflict to continue and selecting a response when the direction of advantage in the conflict becomes clearer, all the while resupplying and politically supporting Israel.
Solution 3 would seem to fit current news.
[TASS reports that the IDF claims its planes have been refuelled 600 times since it began its crime of an unprovoked war against Iran.]
Emboldening insurgency groups in Iran will certainly continue irrespective of any current publicly confirmed 'solution' choice.
Detonating the “Rules Based” International Order
None of the above risk calculus involves principles of international law or human rights enshrined in the international political structure established after WWII (the U.N. and international treaties). Israel with US & UK political support and intelligence and weaponry is running a genocide. With the same support it has invaded Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, where it still conducts wars against those peoples and nations. The Christian and Zionist blob is also warring against Yemen and Iran.
The leadership of Political West has defined itself by the illegality and disregard for humanity which it is supporting. This blatant hypocrisy and disregard is obvious to the vast majority of the world population.
Minor signs of nervousness abour the legal implications of this reprehensible behaviour were spotted by former British diplomat (and Wikileaks/Assange supporter, and whistleblower) Craig Murray in recent UK behaviour at the U.N..

That the G7 would actually put these two sentences in the same statement, speaks volumes about the contempt they have for the intelligence of their own domestic citizens, who are the audience for this pap:
"...In this context, we affirm that Israel has a right to defend itself. We reiterate our support for the security of Israel.
We also affirm the importance of the protection of civilians...."
Given that the Israeli regime is openly committing genocide and the US general assembly has called on all nations to STOP Israel from doing this, expressing support for the "security" of a genocidal regime, makes them self-admittedly accomplices in that genocide. Helping the genocidal regime to expand its war crimes to MORE countries, is like other level.
They should all be in prison. Criminals in suits, the lot of them.
