Scott Ritter: Character Assassination and Lawfare
Early signs of the direction of travel

The Scott Ritter passport seizure saga seems likely to take a few turns. But, first let's remind ourselves of Larry Johnson's summary; that the US Government's actions will create more attention for Ritter than if they had not ordered the seizure of his passport. This will amplify Ritter’s message as surely as cracking the heads of peacefully protesting university students amplified theirs.
A Legal Case with a Judge
The most obvious development is a court case against the US government which Ritter will win for a number of reasons. Ritter has a federal judge on his team, Judge Napolitano. Napolitano stated quite confidently that there are many lawyers who would like to prosecute the US government on his behalf, and Napolitano is likely to know the best of them. More interesting will be what legal justification the US government chooses to throw away as they throw the court case away. Or, perhaps they'll actually try to defend their actions, in which case the case could get rather interesting as they choose other points of law to be smacked down.
Should the government withdraw, Ritter may seek damages. Whichever case begins, if any, it can keep Ritter in the news for months.
Disinformed
The second area of interest comes via intuition. On Alex Christoforou's daily wrap for 2024-06-03 he mentioned that the UK's Telegraph will be running a series for a week, one per day, of articles by "international commentators" answering the question "What if Russia wins the war in Ukraine?" The first of these commentators will be, says Alex, Ivana Stradner, who would you believe it, this newsletter covered a few days ago. The territory which we are likely to enter is 'disinformation' aka character assassination by intelligence services.
That article traced the 'disinformation' line from Stradner on NPR to Blinken in Prague across 6 days. What other line of approach does the CIA/US State Department have for the collapsing situation in Ukraine?
MSM Coverage Emerges
Apart from reports from the independent media, there to date, has only been one from established media on the topic of the seizing of Ritter's passport. That was by Allison Quinn of the Daily Beast. It is a character assassination piece mixed in with disinformation allegations. It begins:
Former U.N. weapons inspector turned sex offender Scott Ritter has made a name for himself parroting Kremlin propaganda about the war against Ukraine.

Judging Freedom
Ritter quickly described the passport seizure on Judging Freedom. Three Customs and Border Patrol officers removed him from the line after flight attendants had signaled for Ritter to board the aeroplane. All the officers knew was that the seizure of his passport was on instruction from the US State Department. Ritter was a bit frazzled and failed to note down their names. Judge Napolitano commented that they should have issued a receipt for the seizure so that the event can be referred to in court. So, there is the first illegality.
After the seizure of his passport, Ritter’s baggage was removed from the aeroplane and he and it was escorted to the public section of JFK airport.
Ritter had earlier in the morning called Napolitano and strongly advised him against travel to St. Petersburg because there was uncertainty about the receiving party. This concern turned out to be unfounded, but better safe than sorry. Napolitano expressed his gratitude for the consideration.
Ritter then laid out how he sees the context of the events.
Ritter commented that the US State Department established the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the Office of the President in Ukraine, back in 2022 (Wikipedia says 2021), . The CCD has been issuing weekly or monthly lists of persona nongrata who are "Information Terrorists". Ritter stated that he has been atop these lists for some time. Ritter also mentioned the Myrotorvets list which he alleges is run by Ukrainian Intelligence services (which means the CIA and MI-6, or CI-6 as this newsletter is wont to call them, know about it or potentially coordinate it). The Myrotorvets list is essentially an assassination list which doxxes people on it. Many persons listed have been killed and then had their entries updated with a graphic red stamp on top of their entry reading "eliminated". Ritter has been listed on Myrotorvets for well over a year.

Ritter states that two attempts on his life have been made during previous travel to Russia and the conflict zones in Donetsk and other oblasts.
Ritter also stated that the approach to the "Information Terrorists" on the CCD list is to treat them as physical terrorists, to pursue them to justice or kill them. We can thus see a potential reverse pass happening. The US State Department signals for the CCD to list Ritter on their blacklist. This causes an issuance a Ukrainian request for individuals listed to be apprehended. The US State Department can then act on this request stating that it comes from Ukraine. This is a classic, intelligence 'one degree removed' approach.
The US has already crossed the line of assassinating its own citizens, about a decade ago. That was another “information terrorist” and his 16 year old son.
Project Ritter
This reverse pass ploy echoes that used by the US in attempting to apprehend Julian Assange. Swedish authorities had dropped the small investigation which was begun following the two Swedish ladies who had consensual sex with Assange contacting police under concern of sexually transmitted disease. The case was restarted and a Red Notice was issued by the newly investigating prosecutor for Assange's arrest and deportation to Sweden for questioning (this was after Assange had consulted with Swedish police and receiving approval before departing for the UK).
There began Assange's legal trouble. A huge disinformation operation about 'rape' was begun when a) the sexual encounters were entirely voluntary and b) no charges were ever filed. UK law was amended, after Assange's contestation of the Red Notice in their courts, to ignore Red Notices unless issued by a judge.
Ignoring the bullshit 'bail violation' charge by the UK which is trumped by Ecuador's issuing of political asylum, charges were eventually filed against Assange by the US Department of Justice under President Trump while the CIA director was Mike Pompeo. These charges were laid after the Wikileaks release of Vault 7, the largest ever leak of CIA documents. There is at times very little distance between the US State Department, the CIA and the US Department of Justice (aka Just Us).
It will be very interesting to see what lines the US State Department and Department of Justice choose to run for the seizure of Ritter's passport. Equivalently, it will be fascinating to see which journalists sign up for the character assassination campaign which is likely to run in parallel.
Quinn has led that campaign's charge.
It looks very much like Ritter is beginning to receive the treatment which the US deepstate runs against whistleblowers like Assange, Snowden, Kiriaku, and many others: character assassination and death by lawfare or other means. The difference in this case is Napolitano, a retired federal court judge. On Judging Freedom Napolitano attested to their friendship and stated that he will personally assist in any litigation.
This new State Department project must now be wound into that of a losing war in Ukraine which has wiped out an entire generation of young men.
Meanwile, the US regime is threatening WW3 and supporting a genocide.

This is political dynamite for the desperate Anglo-American SS.
People Biden’s infamous “disinformation bureau” run by the ex-Facebook censorship czar Nina Jankowitz was never dismantled. It’s operating in secret. Because it’s unconstitutional.
But you can detect its continued operation in action such as this move to shut down Scott Ritter. They are obviously analysing the independent media and targeting the most credible actors for takedown. I suspect Ritter is targeted now because as they move into more stupid escalation, Ritter will play a key role for the public in terms of debunking their lies. It’s a sure sign they are doubling down on the most stupid path - and that they KNOW it’s not defensible.
