Ben Norton is a little too suckered into the “multipolar alternative” for my tastes. It’s just the other (and probably winning) side of a dialectic that gets us to basically the same technocracy.
Yeah, I'll take that. I like journo's who wear their heart on their sleeve. One is thus never unsure of their biases, and so can easily factor that in to one's assessment.
As for the technocracy, yep. Its coming from everywhere, left, right, up, down. CBDC's, vax passports, social media surveillence (incl. this platform) etc.. Sad but true.
I watched this video of a public meeting, which I came across on the "World Doctors Alliance" group on the Telegram app, and thought it was a very helpful, constructive, non-threatening approach.
This lady did NONE of the "this is what I know that you ought to know" attitude that you find with 00DEZ, for example. She is merely offering help and support to help people with what they want to achieve, with the situational awareness that they already have.
The difficulty that people experience with the "you need to wake up to this" approach is that not everyone is in the same position, and some or many feel threatened and get either defensive, or aggressive, or dismiss things that conflict with how they understand the world currently.
The recognition that people need the help and co-operation of other like-minded people, on the other hand, is pretty universal.
You have curated some interesting, thoughtful and informed analysts/commentators. I concur.
You raise an extremely important and delicate challenge. Declaring that one has taken the red pill and discovered X and Y and then demanding that others do the same is downright dumb. People act to their own benefit, or in ways that they believe are to their own benefit whether they are or not. Demanding that others take a similar journey is destined for failure.
For this reason, this newsletter attempts to take a middle ground approach. Topics that this author finds of interest are explored, often with extensive sourcing (a practice inspired by Corbett). Topics which would require persons to have already performed extensive research tend to be avoided, not because they are invalid or uninteresting but because these will not fit with the target audience.
That target audience are persons who have an inclination that something is amiss and have already concluded that those who publish through the MSM are a pack of liars and narrative managers who have a vested interest in existing power structures. Articles published here are meant to help validate this view and provide access, via the source material, to others who provide considered and informed analysis/commentary/opinion.
To summarize, this newsletter's mission is to serve as a bridge.
If I start lecturing people, please scream at me. It means that I have lost the plot.
You are encouraged to directly quote this back at me.
(There are exceptions; anything which is very short or has a title prefixed with Opinion or Editorial may well wander into rabid opinionating, but hopefully not lecturing.)

I'm a long time follower of Taibbi, James Corbett, John Pilger ...
