"...The attack was meant to hit Rostov-on-Don where the Russian military's main command post (the general staff) for the entire Ukraine war is located...."

Interesting.

Surely, the oreshnik missile attack on the "production" facility in Ukraine must have taken out a deep bunker containing a lot of senior NATO "advisors", promting this deperate move by the NATO to escalate....

This is speculation by Dima, but it makes some sense. I see no reason why US/NATO/Ukraine would not attack yet another Russian city. The Ukies were damaging apartment complexes in Belgorod for months with Czech MLRS systems.

Knowledge of what was damaged or who was killed in the Dnipro attack remains unclear. I have no idea. I suspect it was not much. This is why I'm interested in a detailed battle damage assessment if Oreshnik is used again. I'm on Postol's side with the analysis of Oreshnik. One of Russia's problems is that most of Ukraine's sensitive military facilities are housed in old Soviet era buildings, and the Soviets built heavily.

I suspect Russia will target the Ukrainian grid again, focussed on areas of military production. Who knows?

Yep.

From Larry Johnson:

"I anticipated Russia was going to use another hypersonic Oreshnik missile. I was wrong. Instead, Russia launched a massive missile and drone strike, hitting key energy and transportation nodes throughout Ukraine."
