US Intel Leaks Resurface To A New Narrative
A couple of WaPo stenographers publish stuff so unbeliebable that nobody believes they believe it.

Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan from The Washington Post post write that one of the unpublished parts of the Discord Leaks states that Yevgeniy Prigozhin said he would commit what amounts to high treason by supplying Ukraine with Russian troop positions.
No, seriously, Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan at WaPo did actually have their name put to this piece of outrageous balderdash. We know its balderdash because Prigozhin is still a free man.
Because at this newsletter accurate quoting is considered important, here are the opening two paragraphs by these two paragons of writing the unbelievable:
In late January, with his mercenary forces dying by the thousands in a fight for the ruined city of Bakhmut, Wagner Group owner Yevgeniy Prigozhin made Ukraine an extraordinary offer.
Prigozhin said that if Ukraine’s commanders withdrew their soldiers from the area around Bakhmut, he would give Kyiv information on Russian troop positions, which Ukraine could use to attack them. Prigozhin conveyed the proposal to his contacts in Ukraine’s military intelligence directorate, with whom he has maintained secret communications during the course of the war, according to previously unreported U.S. intelligence documents leaked on the group-chat platform Discord.
What we have here is Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan using an, I'll even go out on a limb here, unpublished and fictitious "part" of the Spring-Offensive-Gate leaks as a substitute for an anonymous official to report things which various power brokers wish reported, irrespective of the veracity or even "makes any bloody sense" nature of the material.
Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan have submitted their resumé to the empire loyalists as reliable stenographers with no journalistic principles, or any intelligence for that matter.
For the rest of us, we can classify Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan as untrustworthy, pole climbing, unprincipled dupes looking for a pay rise. Yes, the names Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan have been taken down beside those of Judith Miller and other leading lackeys of the establishment under the title "Not a Journalist/Stenographer".
Well done, Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan, you have exposed yourself so brazenly that its possible that you may even be charged with violating some public decency law.
I am not repeating Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan's names so that this article will appear highly in some corporate search engine, or because I like looking at them, but as a hint that neither of the two shysters are to be trusted.
But, back to the plot. Unlike Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan's article, the published portions of the leaks have passed the smell test. Experienced former CIA analysts have asserted that they bear all of the formatting and style of an intelligence product. Equivalently, National Security Spokesperson ex-Admiral whats-'is-name said they didn't belong in the media. So, what is happening here is not just Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan exposing themselves as purveyors of piss but the leaks themselves being tarnished. Subtle, right? Okay, perhaps not so subtle. But the you've-got-to-be-kidding-me publication must serve some purposes other than burying Shane Harris and Isabelle Khurshudyan's reputation. I've no idea what they are. The above is merely a suggestion.
If you like listening to ol' greybeard McGovern, he provided his analysis on the smoke and mirrors to Judge Napolitano a few hours ago. (See sources for the video). Update: Larry Johnson concurs (also in Sources).
Limited Releases
Some may recall that there was a bit of controversy over the limited distribution of the Snowden Revelations by Pierre Omidyar's First Look Media publication The Intercept. There were good cases both for and against. Those proposing a full release were alleging that The Intercept was guarding more dangerous material or at least preventing other sleuths from trawling through the material to look for such gems. The natural argument from the journalists who received the material was that Edward Snowden had entrusted the material to them. They were instructed to use the material carefully to document the outrageous spying being performed on the world's population by various USA intelligence agencies, not least the NSA, who were stuffing the signals into massive databases, one of which is still housed at Bluffdale Utah. Just dumping the trove would betray their source's wishes for the material to be used carefully by redacting "too sensitive" type things.
For the Spring-Offensive-Gate materials we have a different form of "limited release". The reporting was begun by an intelligence cut-out called Bellingcat, then taken up by the same establishment MSM mouthpiece featured above, The Washington Post. From this and the veracity of the materials, various analysts like Larry Johnson, were able to conclude that there must be a faction, most likely within the USA intelligence and military communities which wanted them published. Perhaps the scurrilous re-purposing of the leaks to fling unbelievable allegations indicates that other factions are pushing back.
In any case, the Spring-Offensive-Gate leaks wont just lie down and die, but are rising as ghouls on the MSM’s narrative battlefield.
