On James Corbett
This newsletter recently mentioned that Pepe Escobar “sits very close to the top” of my list of "Interesting Analysts". Indeed, he sits below only one, James Corbett.
I begin the 'list' with a qualifier:
No particular order of quality or region is implied.
This is only partially true. I rate the first two in their position with purpose, but that's just my judgment.
James publishes everything he does such that it is freely (i.e no financial cost) available, with one tiny exception. He makes a short subscriber video once a month. (This is not important, but I feel a need to mention it for accuracy.)
Once a week he produces a freely available subscriber newsletter article. Last week's article, the fourth, concludes a series titled 'Dissent into Madness'.
It is so important that I cannot recommend it highly enough.
I implore you to read it and think about it.
Since the beginning of 2022 James has been creating a video series titled "Solutions Watch". He has turned his prodigious intellect towards methods of escaping the shackles and idiocy we see around us in our and other societies. The article is "Peak Solutions". It is also inspiring.

Being the Second Dancer
You’re read Corbett’s article, right?
There is a corollary, or related under understanding, to being the first to lead an expression felt by many. It is being the second, or the first to join.
This is most viewable when you have a band playing and nobody is dancing. Often, one person will begin to dance. Lots of others want to but can’t leap over the social hurdle to join the loan dancer. But, as soon as someone does, the social barrier disolves and everybody who wants to dance feels permitted to do so.
My contention is that both are equally valuable. The first creates the possibily, the second makes it acceptable and the rest that then join to make the behaviour a reality.

The Nicolae Ceaușescu issue was great example, but it can only take effect when the majority are in agreement and understand what they were being subjected to. America for example has the same problem yet the majority seem to be captured/mesmerized by Bidens blatant disregard for the people.
The same is happening in Russia where it is at war with its own citizens if one looks at Putin's obedience to the WHO and the BIS digital currency demand.
Well said. I’ve followed James Corbett since 2011. When I suggested writing a subscription cheque, he said the Japanese banks would take months to process it, adding that I could buy him a coffee when next in Japan. He then directed me to an online payment facility.
