No empire ever has accepted a "ceasefire", so this one too is doomed to crash and burn in flames!

Now it's up to you "westerners" to stand up against "your" governments and protect the future of your children. Neither Russia nor China can help you with that effort...

You're onto something here, Lux.

This is actually a pillar of the concept behind 'Multi-polar'. No fiddling in other nations politics. External relations, i.e foreign policy, is to be best handled by diplomacy, that is discussion and negotiation, rather than beligerence and warfare. All of the usual horse trading and inducement and the balancing of one action against another, are implied.

The UN's system of international law is meant to be revitalized. I wouldn't say that international law is going to apply necessarily, but that it will be used to call out nations who are seriously transgressing. Time will tell as to how well this description fits future reality.

But, yes. The group with the power to reign in the self-destructive, idiotic, world threatening beligerence of the the NATO block are the peoples of the member nations. You want democracy? Well, use it!

I am well aware of the concepts of international law that the "Multipolar challengers" are aiming to revitalize on the international political stage. However, this entire concept is based on the assumption that all parties apply the same set of rules that they've previously agreed upon, not changing them "on the fly" as one sees fit, which is what we're seeing today with the "rules-based international order" imposed by the "collective West".

The Russians have long ago stopped cherishing hopes of finding a diplomatic solution to their issues with the "West" and are since to be convinced that any and all "agreements" with the "West" aren't worth the piece of paper they've been written on. It was almost 10 years ago that Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov for the first time used the term "non-agreement capable" and things haven't improved in the meantime, quite the contrary!

So my point above, based on the principles of international law, like no fiddling in other sovereign nations' politics (which is followed to a "T" by the Multipolarists), is that it is entirely an issue for the citizens of the "West" to mutiny and remove your current "elites" from their positions of power, in order to change the collision course on which they've put the "rules-based fregate" that you are a part of...

I could not agree more.

And, your comment above appears quoted in the just released article. Hope you don't mind.

Of course I don't mind. On the contrary, I feel honored to be quoted in your work and to contribute in the discussion! And for that I thank you, dear sir!

I'm glad you approve. I think of Mr. Fish's response to my first request to use his art in my publishing. His response was [paraphrasing] "we're all pushing for a better future, have at it". I look at thoughtful comments by persons such as yourself as no different to an article by Caitlin, or myself for that matter. Same idea as Mr. Fish's. We can see what's wrong, or some of it, and are collaborating to create a better tomorrow.

Thank you.

PS: I fixed about 4 errors. The article reads more smoothly for it. Its late.
