That so many lives are being wasted on both sides in a needless war on Russia is a disgrace.

It's not a coincidence that Ukraine has been a consistent "medalist" on all this rankings of most corrupt countries in the world. Because it takes a deeply corrupt country for there to be any possibility that the leaders of the place would agree to completely sell out the lives and property of their people in such a massive and catastrophic manner.

Total waste, and beyond tragic.

Yes.

US (Nuland) runs a coup in Ukraine (2014) with Ukro-Nazi muscle and rewards them by including them and their and other corrupt backers in the new unelected government. The Ukro-Nazis start a pogrom against Russian speakers. The Donbas declares its independence. The Ukro-Nazis start a civil war under the name of an "anti-terrorist" operation. Western media covers/reveals the Ukro-Nazis and then forgets about it.

During the next 7 years the US and NATO arms and trains the Ukrainian armed forces into which are folded the Ukro-Nazi brigades. France and Germany undermine the Minsk II Accords, the unanimous UNSC political solution. Russia finally tries to suggest a new security architecture to US and NATO and does not even get a response. So, begins the SMO.

Now Ukraine has lost an entire generation of young men and is a broken country. It will be Europe's problem, who also decided they don't want cheap Russian energy and so are beggaring themselves doubly. Their sanctions at the behest of the US have also demonstrated a new alignment in international trade away from the USD to escape its now decades long unilateral economic warfare.

And it was all predictable. The US is being run by a bunch of belligerent, lawless, brainless ideologues.

Sayonara, says the rest of the world.

Europe is the same thing - leaders are tools.

Their people are getting completely shafted on energy costs now:
